It was August 11th, Kelsey & Kristi ventured out to the heart of Vancouver to experience yet another fabulous Main Street Farmers Market. The sun was beaming, the air was warm & a brisk wind was coming off the ocean. Kelsey & Kristi had a pleasant surprise today that was like no other experience they have had before. They were approached by a woman who was with the Salvation Army Addictions and rehabilitation center. They are currently starting a 100 mile diet and they were very interested in trying our 100 mile bread! The wonderful juicy facts about our 100 mile bread is: all the ingredients in the 100 mile bread our sourced within a 100 miles of Vancouver City Hall. The blueberries are grown in Pitt Meadows on the Robson Meadowland’s Farm, the hazelnuts are grown at the Canadian hazelnut Farm in Agassiz & the wheat from Jim’s Cedar Isle Farm in Agassiz. The second great event was they sold out! The first bread to sell out was our famous multigrain! Which is usually uncommon but a wonderful surprise! All in all, it was a very successful day at the Main Street Farmers Market with extremely beautiful weather! Missed out this week? Have no fear we wil be returning on August 25th 3-7. See you all there!
